The history of the Barn Quilt can be traced back nearly 300 years. This form of Americana Folk Art preserves the country's quilting traditions and regional heritages. The meaning behind each quilt is unique, it could be in memory of a specific person or to represent a family or the land. They're truly an art form of their own. Originally, quilts hung in the outside of barns or buildings but can now be found in homes also. Rowe Pottery has crafted pieces with Americana Folk Art roots for nearly 50 years so adding the Barn Quilt pattern to our collection was a fun way to continue these traditions.
All Rowe Pottery candles are 100% hand poured soy-based and made with certified clean fragrances. Candles burn for about 70 hours and once the candle is burned, simply remove the wick and wash in the dishwasher and find a new use for your crock.
Candle Care Tips: As the candle burns down, scrape the sides when cooled down and before reburning.
